Through a contemplative journey we observe how the forgotten Batuco wetland is threatened by urbanization and human invasion guided by a person who was born and raised in the town. To portray this threat, symbolism was used, through the creation of a model that will represent the capitalist city and various elements that will generate visual counterpoint. The project combines staging and visual contrast elements to create a profound reflection on the impact of urbanization on natural ecosystems. The symbolic model confronts urban expansion with wetland preservation, using materials and textures that emphasize the tension between the natural and the artificial.
