The Manifesto of Format

Since my arrival in Germany, a profound revelation has shaped my practice: the normalization of disposal—the discarding of entire households, including objects with aesthetic value, such as paintings. This observation (witnessing canvases and frames in good condition left abandoned) became the foundational spark of my current work: the conviction that transforming and granting a second life to the discarded is the very essence of creation. Therefore, I want the viewer to know that the works presented here often retain their original frames. These have been carefully treated, restored, and are fully functional—not out of economy, but out of principle. Because art is never destroyed: art is transformed.
